Didn't mean to offend.  I just don't like the way he has run the company. Yes, they've been hugely profitable.  But at what cost?  You mention Touchstone and Hollywood Pictures.  I don't think Walt would like his company making some of the movies they have made.  I also don't think Walt would like the declining quality of service we now see at the parks. Anybody can jack up prices like Eisner has done.  I also think Jeff Katzenberg was treated badly by Eisner.  If I'm not mistaken, Jeff was in charge of Disney animation.  Their cartoons were responsible for a big chunk of the company's profits.  I think Jeff deserved better.  If I'm wrong about any of this, set me straight.   Well first of all Bill, I would like to say you are exactly right.  Eisner gets credit for a lot of things that he is not deserving of.  And you are right anybody can double, yes I said double the prices to the theme parks and increase revenue substantially overnight.  When Eisner came on board, the Admission price for Adults for a one day WDW ticket was $18!!  That was in  1984.  Now it is something like $38!! And of course the prices on everything else have been increased just as much as well!  But about Jeff Katzenberg you may have some of your facts wrong.  He is far from an angel.  Roy Disney was and still is the head of Disney animation.  Jeff was responsible for the purchase of Miramax and all of this wonderful publicity the company is getting.  In fact he even appeared in Miramax's Truth or Dare movie that was sooo wholesome and Disney-like!!  He also was extremely power hungry and went into a power grabbing frenzy shortly after Frank Well's death and especially when Micheal Eisner was in the hospital with his heart surgery.  He ruffled quite a few feathers including the Board of Directors and especially Roy Disney.  He went on talk shows and performed interviews where he was taking full credit for the Lion King when in fact Roy Disney had a pretty big hand in it as well.  He may not have been treated exactly the best in the world when he departed but I really do not think there was any other choice.  He had offended just too many people.  He now has the postion and power he wanted at Dreamworks so I wish him all the best.  Maybe very soon we will find out if he really was the reason for the resurgance of the Disney Animation studio.
